Driving in New York City isn’t for the fainthearted, thanks in large part to the absolute lunatics who do choose to drive there. One such woman found herself the subject of an entire neighborhood’s ire after blocking a street while fighting with another driver over who had the right to park in a particular spot.

The video opens on two massive SUVs angling for the same spot and subsequently blocking the flow of traffic behind them. The driver of one of the SUVs shouts at someone, “You’re going to touch a woman, are you serious right now? You’re going to hit a woman?” The man she’s speaking to, a native New Yorker if I’ve ever seen one, shouts back, “I am serious, actually. You’re breaking the fucking law,” before trying to open her car door.

Meanwhile, the loudest woman on Earth begins yelling at everyone to break it up from halfway down the block, her voice getting louder as she gets closer to the scene of the crime. She screams at the drivers, “Come on! I’ve got a meeting now!” while someone else blows a whistle and encourages the drivers stuck behind them to slowly try and fit past them.

The loud woman eventually reaches the red SUV and bangs on the window, shouting at the driver to move her car just one foot so that everyone else can move before running ahead to direct traffic. I love a powerful woman.

Commenters loved her too, with several wanting to know if she made it to her meeting or not, while others wanted to know what happened to the drivers fighting over the spot. The only follow-up we have from OP is in one of the comments. They said that the cops eventually turned up and “she just left,” presumably referring to the driver of the red SUV who tried to steal someone else’s spot.

People in major cities don’t play about their parking spots — we all know it’s every man for themselves, but you really can’t be holding up an entire line of cars as you engage in a game of chicken with a driver who was in the spot you’re trying to steal. If you do, be prepared for a visit from a powerful businesswoman with the loudest set of pipes this side of Broadway — some people say they can still hear her shouting to this day.
