Days after Apple released their new headset, the $3,499 Apple Vision Pro, it appears several tech dudes have already decided to hop on the bandwagon of transforming their entire reality into an ADHD-fueled Subway Surfers meme, sporting the device wherever and whenever they goddamn please.

Despite objectively looking stupid — the Google Glass looked less dumb, and that’s saying something — several decided to brave public humiliation in favor of being seen as an “early adopter,” donning the headset everywhere from the gym to the subway and even pro basketball games, a decision several (correctly) decried as really "peak dork behavior."

“I thought this would go without saying but all these videos are fake/staged advertisements,” joked @BOENSAW.  “Nobody is actually walking around a city going on the subway wearing their vision-impairing apple product with a 2 hour battery life that costs $4000.”

But using the device as subway goggles is just the beginning. Despite Apple’s staunch warning against sporting their headset behind the wheel — “Never use Apple Vision Pro while operating a moving vehicle, bicycle, heavy machinery, or in any other situations requiring attention to safety,” the company warned on the product’s safety guide — several decided to throw caution to the wind, sporting the headset even while behind the wheel.

“We really in the end times " @ayeejuju captioned a video of a man driving a cybertruck down a highway, visibly engrossed in the world of his Apple Vision Pro.

This driver was far from alone in their pursuit of dangerous driving for nothing but clout from the most insufferable guys online.

In another viral video, a second Tesla owner could be seen behind the wheel of his whip, cruising down the highway in his Elon Musk-approved vehicle

“It hasn’t even been a full day since it got released and mfs are already driving with this thing. We are so cooked,” added @kirawontmiss

So while there might be many benefits for the "early adopters" gooning is not one of them.
