It's official, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are ready to Be Bad Boys for life! Thursday afternoon, Will Smith shared a video of himself on the beach, with Martin Lawrence popping into frame with the pair of them announcing "It's official baby, bad boys 3 is happening, just wait!" 





While many fans of the series are ectatic, it’s been a long road for the third installment of the franchise, Bad Boys for Life. Bad Boys II came out in 2003 but was repeatedly being added and pulled from Sony’s release calendar. At one point Martin Lawrence was quoted as saying that the project "looked unlikely".


“I don’t think we’re going to get one, not the way everything’s turning out,” he admitted. “Will is off doing another movie, and I don’t think it’s going to happen.” But he added, “I’m there, I’m ready right now. If they wanted to do it, I’m ready, but I don’t have control of that. That’s the studio’s decision.”


Not much is currently known about the film, its plot, location, etc, but more details will likely be released over the coming weeks. The film has a release date of Jan. 17, 2020.
