A Chase Bank has mysteriously exploded in Youngstown, Ohio, killing one and injuring seven.

According to ABC 7, the explosion occurred yesterday afternoon and affected a building that contains a Chase bank and apartments.

While the explosion was initially characterized as being the result of a natural gas leak, crews working at the scene have yet to determine whether this was actually the case.

Since the explosion, ABC 7 reports that the building has been evacuated until its structural integrity can be properly evaluated. Currently, there is no suspicious or malicious activity suspected in the explosion.

Numerous events and bus services around the city have been canceled until experts can determine the safety of the area. At least we know things could have gone worse.
