Ever since the United States Air Force veteran David Grusch admitted to the House Oversight Committee that the military is in possession of alien craft, including a deceased “biologic” pilot, the public has been obsessed with finding their own encounters of the third kind.
But all such examples, from alleged UFOs to shapeshifters, are believed to have extraterrestrial or spiritual origins. That is until a video of a fisherman holding an exceedingly creepy black fish with red fangs was posted by the popular Twitter account @Bornakang.

“I feel like aliens are all in the water,” @WillBarb44 commented. She was hardly the only one to think so.
That's where the UFOs are coming from

But while it’s true that the ocean is home to millions of species we would consider completely alien to our above-ground existence, that doesn’t mean that they’re unnatural, or out of this world. In this case, the black beauty is a red tooth triggerfish; also known as a vampire fish.
Red tooth triggerfish. You see thousands around reefs in the tropics. Shy and harmless.

Only the Titan triggerfish are dangerous and that too only when they’re defending their nests / eggs.

I’ve swum past Titans hundreds of times and they just mind their own business.
Additionally, based on an old Reddit post in r/NatureIsF***ingLit that appears to originate from this clip, the video is at least two years old.
But just because this red-toothed fish is real and supposedly harmless, doesn’t mean I want to be around if gets pissed off. That’s how you lose a finger… or worse.
Count Fishula.
