Enoch is an artist that specializes in painting "spooky pictures." The 28-year-old is a self-proclaimed "spooky doodler," and certainly likes to keep his art on the darker side. Enoch also spent some time as a patient in a psych ward, and occasionally publishes art he drew while he was there. This piece, which he released an updated version of on March 1st, is one of those drawings, and the internet can't get enough of it.
I FINALLY FOUND A BETTER IMAGE OF THIS.

DRAWN ON A FOLDER WITH CRAYOLA TWISTABLES(except for the bottom right corner I edited) BY A REAL MENTALLY UNWELL PERSON (me) THANK YOU. pic.twitter.com/VFiRuEzzom
Enoch says that his only inspiration behind the piece was pure boredom, and jokes that they bumped up his medication afterward.
Boredom. Literally nothing else to do there but draw. (I only got to draw in group sessions though)

Despite the morbid nature of the drawing, some people are in love with its striking imagery.
this might genuinely be one of my favourite pieces of art ever

It's really good. Probably the only art piece I've seen and thought "wow I should buy that and put it on my wall"

Is there any way I could purchase the permission to get this tattooed on me?

This piece is also inspired by his time at the psych ward, although that's not the case for every painting. He has no desire to dive into the inspiration behind every single bit of artwork.
Painting based on a “face” I saw in the wood grain patterns of the floor in my room at the psychward. Acrylic on 16”x20” canvas. pic.twitter.com/9jJO4vUV4u

“do any of your art pieces have longer stories behind them?” Yeah but that’s kinda exhausting to talk about
