Fans of the original Game of Thrones series may remember the mishap with the to-go coffee cup being left on the table in one of the final episodes. In the new spinoff series, House of the Dragon, fans have now caught another glaring mistake, one of the lead actors still has his greenscreen glove on in the episode.

While this could be an oversight, when you're spending $20 million dollars per episode, you might want to scour your show for any mistakes or missing details that could later be scrutinized by hungry fans.

For those not familiar with the Game of Thrones story, it's basically about many families fighting for control of the land of Westeros. House of the Dragon features similar themes, set years before the story of Game of Thrones.

Viserys Targaryen, the king of the realm sits on the Iron Throne, which is made up of the many swords and knives of fallen warriors and cuts his finger on one of the sharp edges. Despite the small cut, the wound becomes infected, forcing Viserys to amputate two of his fingers.

The actor who plays Viserys, Paddy Considine, had to wear a greenscreen glove so they could edit out the two fingers in post-production. However, in a scene where a messenger brings a letter to Viserys, it's clear as day that they did not edit the glove out.

Most were quick to point out the mistake, and compare it to the poor editing of the original show.

HBO quickly addressed their mistake and said that they would go back and fix the scene, so fans can rest assured the king will only have eight fingers in the future.
