A man identified as Gary Cabana, 60, was captured on CCTV jumping over the reception desk of The Museum of Modern Art in New York and attacking a male and female employee, both 24, stabbing them multiple times. Both victims are in the hospital and are expected to recover. 

Cabana has been described by his neighbors at the homeless shelter he resided at as quiet and a loner.

Cabana, the alleged attacker who has been positively identified, has evaded police since he fled the scene and is currently on the run. The self-proclaimed 'culture buff' was reportedly infuriated at the news his subscription to the MOMA had been canceled over previous disturbances at the Museum and that he would be barred from a screening of 'Bringing Up Baby." Cabana allegedly left, only to return shortly with a knife in hand, jumping the desk and stabbing at the two employees. 

Cabana has continued posting on his social media accounts while many users urge him to turn himself in.

Cabana, who lives at a homeless shelter in Midtown, has gone on several rants on his Facebook and Instagram pages since he went on the run. He continues to evade police. Other residents at the shelter described Cabana as quiet and meek, rarely speaking a word.

The female victim of the attack was reportedly heard shouting, "I want hazard pay!" as she was being wheeled off in a stretcher.

At first glance, Cabana looks more like a mild-mannered small-time celebrity chef on a competitive cooking show but has since revealed himself to seem deeply troubled. His online pages paint the picture of a man obsessed with Broadway while going off on nonsensical rants like the one shortly after the attack where he claimed that it was a 'frame job' and that it "wasn't Scream 6 at MoMA" but just a "poke poke poke wake-up call."
