He should have just accepted the tow.

If a tow truck has already hitched itself to your vehicle, it’s basically game over. There’s nothing you can do apart from sitting in your vehicle in the vain hope that they’ll give up and unhitch you. However, knowing that’s unlikely, it’s usually best to just let them take it away and deal with the consequences later.

That knowledge doesn’t stop people from trying to fight it. We’ve seen people do all sorts of crazy stuff to avoid a tow, from simply driving away to flipping their car while attempting to pull out.

But none come close to defeating this guy, who not only destroyed his car while trying to remove it from a tow but also committed assault in the process.
