It’s been a big year for people throwing garbage where they’re not supposed to. From the Florida boat bros caught tossing trash overboard, to North Korea sending literal shit into South Korea via balloon, the garbage-wielder is becoming one of the top characters of 2024.

Recently, we’ve added another character to that storied list. According to the New York Post, 33-year-old Jean Olivier had just visited the Consulate General of Haiti, where things apparently didn’t go so well. As a result, he proceeded to lose it and start throwing shit off of the roof.

Would you believe me if I told you this guy was from Florida? Well, he is!

Over the course of about half an hour, Olivier started throwing pretty much everything he could get his hands on off the roof. This included several panels, a few lawn chairs, and more.

Eventually, police were able to catch up to Olivier, at which point they charged him with burglary, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and criminal trespass. I guess “throwing lawn chairs off a roof” isn’t a crime by itself yet — we might still live in a free country after all!
