Mount Sinabung has erupted before, but never this strongly. No one has been reported injured, but the videos and images paint a foreboding picture.
Authorities have warned everyone to stay at least 4 miles away fromthe mountain. One school was forced to depart quickly.

Reports indicate a large portion of Mount Sinabung's peak is missing. One can only wonder as to who could have stolen it.
