From Podium to Paywall: The Olympians of OnlyFans
They trained for gold, but they’re stripping for green. These elite Olympic athletes are taking their talents — and toned bodies — to OnlyFans

The last few years have seen numerous notable Olympians create sexed-up profiles on OnlyFans, teasing naked photos and videos to horny fans. Anyone hoping for a glimpse of a gold medal hole, though, should take these announcements with a grain of salt — plenty of these profiles promise no nudity, or they further paywall the actual XXX stuff in pricey DMs.
OnlyFans may have been built by sex workers, but the site today is just as likely to feature vanilla “lifestyle content” as it is hardcore porn. The company is even sponsoring a handful of athletes who promise to chat with fans and share exclusive content. Think of it as the Instagram of the porn world: all shiny, gleaming torsos and flirty winks, but probably not actually porn.
Still, the number of Olympians at least teasing softcore content is growing steadily, and inspiring some pretty surprising conversations around how much — and in some cases, how little — these athletes actually get paid.
The self-described Canadian “Queen of Pole Vault” Alysha Newman sparked a surge of thirsty interest last summer, when she twerked mid-competition and apparently drew in 20,000 OnlyFans subscribers as a result. Seemingly, Newman mainly uses the site to send personal messages to fans — as well as to post a regularly-updated grid of bikini and lingerie photos. If you’re lucky, you might get a close-up of her medals, but that’s about it.
British diver Jack Laugher is used to being sized up in his skimpy Speedos, so it wasn’t too surprising when he launched an OnlyFans last year, apparently to “make ends meet.” He’s one of a few divers cashing in on a fanbase partial to young guys in barely-there spandex, and his page promises a “celebration of underwear and Speedos,” but seemingly no nudity. To quote his hilarious father, “It’s nothing you couldn’t show your grandma.”
Speed skater Elise Christie, or “your favorite speed demon,” according to her X bio, credits OnlyFans with “saving her life” after a nasty ankle injury wrecked her shot at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Christie was working three jobs and sleeping in her car after retiring from skating, but before long, her sexy underwear photos and sexed-up fitness content had built her a loyal fanbase on OnlyFans. If you like your workouts with a little eye candy, Christie is happy to deliver.
Imagine: you qualify for the Olympics, but you can’t afford to actually get there. Mexican diver Diego Balleza found himself in this predicament back in 2023, so he turned to OnlyFans to fund his journey — and apparently, he decided to stick around.
Welsh discus thrower Brett Morse made it to the Olympics back in 2012, but he’s one of the few Olympians to truly get down and dirty on the site, at least if his social media content is anything to go by. If you’re into hairy muscle guys unafraid to show off, he’s the guy for you.
As mentioned above, OnlyFans now actually sponsors athletes, and one of the highest-profile names to ever rock a branded beanie is German bobsled champion Lisa Buckwitz, who famously posed for Playboy a few years back. Buckwitz has said there will be no nudity on her page, just swimwear shoots and the chance to peek into the daily life of a world-class athlete.
