Less than a year after Ash Ketchum and Pikachu retired from Pokémon after 25 years of working to be the very best (like no one ever was), our electric pal has already fallen into one of the several pitfalls of stars past their heyday, getting into it with a drunk man in the park …. Well, kinda.

In a clip shared to r/PublicFreakout on Wednesday, a man dressed as the iconic cartoon character decided enough was enough when it came to one visibly inebriated man sitting in a park, confronting him as he sat on a bench, beverage in hand.

Though it’s unclear what, exactly, the Pokemon cosplayer said to his intoxicated foe, their interaction quickly went south, the aspiring Pikachu ultimately raising his voice before landing a critical hit, kicking the man in the face so hard that he passed out over the fence behind him.

While the man in question attempted to revive the drunk, trying to prop him upright, his attempts were unsuccessful, the man remaining TKO-ed on the bench. Remember, trainers, that’s what revive potions are for.
