The Victoria Secret Fashion Show has been cancelled, literally. This year will be the first time in 25 years that the angels will not take the stage in their massive winged bras and panties, and many people are happy about. Though not everyone is thrilled. 

An executive for Victoria Secret said, "we think it's important to evolve the marketing of Victoria's Secret — that is happening in certain respects now, and I think there will be more to come," when asked why they decided to cancel this years VS Fashion Show. 

Burgdoerfer did say the brand would be putting on a similar event this holiday season but that it wouldn't be the fashion show many fans and customers have comes to expect and love. 

When speaking on the issue further, L Brands CFO Stuart Burgdoerfer said, "if that continues to get evaluated, again, we believe the most important thing is the quality of the merchandise itself."
