Just don’t think too hard about the microplastics.
Pretty much everything these days is made out of plastic. While there have been some (mostly minor) efforts to reduce the amount of plastic we consume, we just can’t stop doing it — mostly because a) it’s still cheap, and b) we’re so used to plastic that anything else feels out of place. You really expect me to use a paper bag? Yeah, maybe when you learn how to make one where the handles don’t break off!
But as we inch dangerously closer to boiling ourselves in seawater, some of us have started to think that, maybe, we should stop using so much plastic — or, at least, find a better use for it than simply sending it off to the third world.
This man has one possible solution, and it involves turning plastic products into, well, other plastic products. Sure, they may not be the prettiest things in the world, but at least he’s doing something!
