Yesterday, former President Donald Trump was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records due to illegal payments he made to the porn star he banged.

However, this isn’t over. We still don’t know if Trump will face any jail time (he probably won’t), and Trump will likely appeal the verdict — meaning we’re going to have to deal with another interminable media circus when all this happens again in a year or so.

But no matter the permanence of this verdict, some looked at the headline and wept tears of joy. Others basically pissed their pants.

Yes, a few people really didn’t like finding out that their Big Wet Boy has the potential to be locked up. Instead of being just — I don’t know, disappointed? — these people opted to go on tirades about how Biden is controlled by China, how our country is basically over and done with, and naturally, deploy a wide variety of “fuck you”’s.

Trump himself was more subdued. After the verdict, he gave one of his trademark rambling speeches, this time focusing on how it wasn’t his fault that he did crimes. Instead, the *judge* was the problem. And the jury, I guess. And George Soros.

“This was a disgrace. This was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who was corrupt. It was a rigged trial. A disgrace,” he said. He later added, “You have a Soros-backed DA and the whole thing. We didn’t do a thing wrong. I’m a very innocent man.”

Well, buddy, might want to tell that to your guilty verdict!

I guess only time will tell how he, and all of his supporters, react to his three other upcoming trials. I’m sure it will be great.
