A bit much, don’t you think?

Kids will be kids, so the saying goes. What’s left out of that saying is that, oftentimes, kids are assholes.

As a society, we’ve largely decided to put up with this. Let kids scream on airplanes, listen to their iPad on the train without headphones and do whatever else they need to to release their pent-up energy. It sucks, but what’s the alternative? Locking them in a cage until they turn 18?

This cop, however, wasn’t having it. Seeing a group of children allegedly “riding recklessly, running red lights, blocking intersections and causing a significant disruption,” per Local 10 (kids causing a disruption? You don’t say!), this officer decided to take matters into his own hands — by hitting the child with his car, then tackling him.
