First of all he was elected which means the majority of the people in America(not exluding the electorial college) wanted him to be president.

As for the whole tax thing: Though you get taxed more, you also get a bigger tax return. The government doesn't just steal your money.

And as for him not being American: he was born and spent most of his life in Hawaii. His dad was born in Kenya and he only spent a couple of months in his 20's there; and only a few months from his childhood in Indonesia.
