And the list goes on. This is how people on the far left blogs are describing the way McCain treated Obama in the last debate when he said "that one" instead of saying something like "him" or calling Obama by name when talking about voting records for an energy bill.

This is my favorite. And by favorite I mean most ridiculous. "All black people are the same to racists, so they have to make sure you know "which one" they are condenscending to. Is this 2008 or 1908?". It fits with this remark, which I deem a close second place for ridiculous remarks, "Bad idea. "That One" sounds a lot like "Boy" -- It will be condemned as GOP's code word for race."

The saddest part of this is that the people who wrote them are completely serious. These people live in their own little worlds. It is a prime example of how political correctness is the overriding factor in decision making. I guarantee if the Democratic nominee were anyone other than Obama the "that one" remark wouldn't have gotten a second thought.

Why are people so quick to cry racist? An even better question, why do so many people think racism is something that only afflicts whites and is only used against non-whites? Some of the most racist people I've ever met were black.

And then there's Keith Slobberman who called someone a racist for implying that Obama is a Muslim. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but last I checked Muslim is not a race. Can't blame Keith too much I guess after all, it's in his nature to be sensationalistic and way out of kilter.

I'm sure McCain didn't mean anything derogatory when he said "that one". If you don't like McCain that's fine but don't make Obama into a victim of some terrible racist tirade. God I hate political correctness.
