Wanna buy a duck?

For no reason at all, I felt like sharing a stupid game I used to play with my friends back in high school, that we later discovered was much more fun with alcohol involved.

Anyway, I'll try to explain how it works. It might sound kind of retarded, but believe me, it adapts itself to your particular brand of humor. If it doesn't become hilarious, it's because you're not trying to make it so.

Anyway, you need a group of people to do this. The more, the better (and the more difficult/confusing it will become). One person asks the next "Wanna buy a duck?". The first one is always a duck... it's how you know they're starting the game. I'll list the conversation as it goes between person 1 and person 2.

1: Wanna buy a duck?

2: A what?

1: A duck.

2: Does it quack?

1: Of course it quacks, it's a duck.

From here on, it's all up to the player's imagination. Person 2 brings a 3rd person in, but it can be ANYTHING AT ALL that they're selling. Likewise, person 3 can ask absolutely any question about what the object for sale should do. But the reason it gets confusing is that once the questions and answers begin, it's supposed to bounce all the way back to the first person and then back up again on each and every answer. I'll show you, so you understand what I mean... let's keep it tame and say a car.

2: Wanna buy a car?

3: A what?

2: A what?

1: A duck.

2: A car.

3: Does it roll?

2: Does it quack?

1: Of course it quacks, it's a duck.

2: Of course it rolls, it's a car.

And now 3 brings in 4 with a new item for sale. Let me show you an example of how, with the right people playing, this game can become rather hilarious.

3: Wanna buy a dildo?

4: A what?

3: A what?

2: A what?

1: A duck.

2: A car.

3: A dildo.

4: Is it floppy?

3: Does it roll?

2: Does it quack?

1: Of course it quacks, it's a duck.

2: Of course it rolls, it's a car.

3: Of course it's floppy, it's a dildo.

And then 4 sells something to 5... and this goes on and on and on until the entire room is playing, and it can get rather confusing keeping track of who's selling what and what does what. Especially if you're all drinking. Also, once the whole room is playing it goes back around to person 1 again, so now person 1 is actually selling two things to person two, one item at each end of the full circle. It doesn't stop until someone fucks it up. The penalty for fucking up is completely up to the group... you can keep it simple and make them take a shot or something, or you can get creative and... well, depends on how creative you are :).

Like I said... sounds kinda stupid reading it, but with a twisted enough crowd and some alcohol it can get pretty hilarious. That's my random thought for the day.
