A man fell down a flight of stairs and went unconscious from a head injury. The guy woke up in bed at a hospital. He asked a nearby doctor, "Doc, what happened, will I be alright?"

The doc replied, "Well, you survived the fall, but the X-rays show that you have a terminal brain tumor. It doesn't appear to be operable, and you probably have 4 months to live. You'll probably want to make a will, spend time with your family, and do all the things you've been wanting to do with your life. You don't have much time left, sir."

The man was shocked and started to panic. He started trying to get out of bed to go see his family, but he realized that he couldn't move.

The doctor chucked and said, "I'm just kidding, you actually broke your neck on the fall, and now you're paralyzed for life."
