A white guy, an African, and an Asian guy are in the military. All of them are assigned different duties. The white guy was assigned to sweeping and digging after that, the black guy was assigned to digging, and the Asian was assigned to get them the supplies and dig. After assigning them their duties, the commander leaves and tells them he expects everything to be done by the time he returns an hour later.

An hour later, he returns and finds nothing has been accomplished and is clearly upset. He approaches the white guy, "Why haven't you swept this mess up?!". The white guy replies, "I couldn't. The Asian guy never returned with the broom for me to sweep!" The commander then asks the African, "And why haven't you started digging a hole for shelter in case enemies attack?!". The African replies, "I couldn't. The Asian guy never returned with a shovel for us to dig!"
