In the early 1970's, there was a group of young girls that were brutally murdered in Rochester, New York. The victims, Carmen Colon, Wanda Walkowicz, and Michelle Maenza, all had alliterative initials. The most likely murder suspect was posthumously cleared in 2007 by DNA testing. The murderer known as the Hillside Strangler in California had many similarities to the Alphabet murders, but he was never charged. In 2011, a 77 year-old named Joseph Naso was charged with murdering four women and is the most likely suspect for the Alphabet Murders as well.

An unknown killer used the area as a body dump. They were later named The Bone Collector. The remains of eleven bodies were eventually recovered and they were all prostitutes.

Bible John is a serial killer who murdered three young women after meeting them at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, Scotland. The murders occurred between 1968 and 1969. As of 2014, the killer has never been identified. The case remains unsolved. The suspect was described by a victims sister as being a well-dressed young man, tall, slim and with reddishfair hair, and described as being polite, well-dressed and well-spoken.

The Monster of Florence, who was also known as Il Mostro, is the name used for the killer or killers responsible for 16 murders in Florence, Italy. Nearly all of the victims were couples and the murders took place between 1968 and 1985. The same gun and pattern were used in all of the murders. He would occasionally mutilate the genitals of the female victims. Investigations lead to Antonio Vinci, a relative of two other suspects in the murders. He is the most likely culprit and he is still free.

This murderer or murderers killed 13 women in Boston, Massachusetts in the early 1960's. The crimes were attributed to a man named Albert DeSalvo because of his confession. However, parties investigating the crimes have since suggested the murders sometimes known as the silk stocking murders were not committed by one person. If there were other murderers, they still roam free.
