Remember the mini-gun the Terminator uses in Cyberdyne headquarters in “Terminator 2: Judgement Day? It’s the exact same gun used in “Predator”, 4 years before. -

Turns out, full-scale replicas of fighter aircraft aren’t that common, and even though most of the jets in “The Avengers” are CGI, the one in the fight scene between Hulk and Thor is not. In fact, it’s the same one that Arnold Schwarzenegger flew in “True Lies,” just with a new paint job. -

The car is his lucky charm, he drove it during his college days, and now it’s appeared in almost all of his films. The 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was in “Spider-Man,” “Drag Me to Hell,” “Army of Darkness” and even the western movie “The Quick and the Dead ” (Raimi hid it under a wagon chassis). -

Director Stanley Kubrick actually demanded that all of the props from the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey” be destroyed but someone overlooked an EVA pod. The said EVA pod was seen in Star Wars Episode One. -

Speaking of Star Wars IG-88 is a droid bounty hunter in “The Empire Strikes Back”, and his creation was somewhat of a joke. The crew looked around the previous film set and came up with the idea for his design, which included a drink dispenser from the Mos Eisley cantina. -

Mr. Fusion, the awesome “home energy device” from “Back to the Future” was really just a coffee grinder, but since it looked so futuristic it worked for the film. However, the first time it appeared onscreen was in the opening shots of “Alien” mounted on the wall of the Nostromo space station. -

20th Century Fox decided to get their money’s worth out of the body armor and helmets used in “Starship Troopers.” The Alliance soldiers in the show “Firefly” wore the exact same costumes, and they even made a cameo in the 2001 reboots of “Planet of the Apes,” just with a shiny black paint job. -
