You probably have no clue about some weird schools in the world that are totally different from what we expect. Some of these schools allow students to learn things of their choice while some may teach the art of prostitution.

A school that teaches the art of prostitution, Spain: As prostitution is legal in Spain, there are schools which teach the practical tricks of the trade. There are around 200,000 and 400,000 prostitutes in Spain. The school is situated in Valencia. Trabajo Ya means “Work Now.” This school also offers instant employment for both sexes. They are given lessons of the evolution of prostitution and business skills. This school also gives two-hour practical skill sessions daily, so that students learn the ins and outs of sex toys and familiarize themselves with the Kama Sutra. -

Dongzhong Mid-Cave Primary School, China. Dongzhong Mid-Cave Primary School is in Miao village in Guizhou province, China. The word Dongzhong means "in caves". The school was started in 1984, as it is the poorest area of China. Instead of using resources the community started the cave school. It was started with eight teachers and 186 students. After 23 years, Chinese authorities shut down the school with the fear that China isn’t a “society of cavemen.” -

The school is entirely underground and located in Artesia, New Mexico. The school construction was completed in 1962. In 1999, the school building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The place has the equipment to function as an advanced fallout shelter. The school is never utilized as a bomb shelter. -

The Boat Schools, Bangladesh. Due to floods, Bangladesh leaves millions of its citizens without access to clean water and electricity. It also makes difficult for children to visit schools. To overcome the challenges caused by the annual floods, a nonprofit organization called Shidhulai Swanirvar Sangstha came up with the idea of building houses, health care centers, and schools that float. The organization operates 100 boat schools. These boats are schools and schools bus as well. They pick up the students and it is a continuous process as some students are left to home after the lessons, the other students are picked. It was established in 2002, and about 70,000 children are benefited. -

Gulu Elementary School, China. Gulu is village located in mountainous Hanyuan County, China. Luoma Way is the only way to get in there. The way to the school is filled with zigzag turns, narrow passages between rock walls, and rickety bridges. Gulu Village Primary School is hidden in one mountain. The school was started in the late 80s and is run by a single teacher, Shen Qijun. He came to the village before 18 years. He renovated the school recently and added a toilet, basketball court. -

The Train Platform Schools, India. The Train Platform School is established in 1985 by Inderjit Khurana in Orrisa. She is a teacher in the school. She always saw kids begging rather than going to school, and it took her to initiate the school in platforms. It was impossible for her to send all the children to the school. It took the formation of Ruchika School Social Service Organization (RSSO). By her project, in present 4,000 students are getting an education. All the children gather at train stops to learn to read and write. -

The School Of The Future, Philadelphia The School of the Future was opened in 2006. The school do not have books, but students work on computers. They are taught mathematics with OneNote. Teachers use smart computerized boards. Students also have digital lockers that open with the flash of an ID card. -

It is specially built for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender as they are discriminated in regular schools. The school doors are open for all without any sexual discrimination. In 2003, school started granting high school diplomas. The anti-gay community extremely criticizes the school. -

Witch School, Massachusetts. Witch School teaches witchcraft for budding witches worldwide. More than 40,000 students take their courses online. It also has a physical location. The school is located in Roseville, Chicago but later moved to Salem, Massachusetts. -

Brooklyn Free School, United States. Brooklyn Free School promotes independent studies. It has two sections that are divided by ages. The upper class has students who belong to age group of 11 to 18 years and lower school for students between the ages of 4 and 11. They have full liberty to be anywhere in the school.They can enter some other class and stay there for long according to their wish. The school’s model is only criticized because of its lack of curriculum.
