10. Stroh Rum – 80%. Hailing from Austria, this rum is so strong Austrians integrate it into their warm drinks. If you’re not ready for the 80% version, there is 60 or even 40% version.

7. Balkan Vodka – 88%. The bottle has about 13 different label warnings. This vodka comes from Bulgaria and triple distilled. It is highly recommended that drinkers enjoy this mixed in with something else, as drinking straight may cause some significant health problems.

4. River Antoine Royale Grenadian Rum – 90%. Made in Grenada with 180 proof and 90% alcohol content, the River Antoine Royale Grenadian Rum is made with the old tradition of pot stilling. This is slow distilling method, and the rum is made from fermented sugarcane juice using a water wheel.

3. Bruichladdich X4 Quadrupled Whiskey – 92%. With 184 proof and an alcohol content of 92%, Bruichladdich X4 Quadrupled Whiskey is made in Scotland. The technique behind the creation of this whiskey is based on a 17th century quadruple distillation method. The BBC did an experiment with the whiskey and found it could even power a sports car to go up to 100 miles per hour.

2. Everclear – 95%. There are actually two different warning labels; one to note that the liquor is extremely flammable, and the other discouraging people from drinking it straight. With an alcohol content of 95% and a proof of 190, this vodka is not for the faint of heart. In 1979, it was named the most alcoholic drink by the Guinness Book of World Records and was even banned in the United States and Canada for quite some time.

1. Spirytus – 96%. Spirytus is 192 proof and has an alcohol content of 96%. Made in Poland, this liquor was only recently approved to be sold in the state of New York in the United States. Those who have drank this liquor straight have compared it to being punched in the stomach and literally taking one’s breath away.
