We all know of “Florida Man,” the fabled bro-tank-wearing, gun-slinging, anger management needing Southerners famed for their penchants for booze, gators, and the second amendment.

But why do these dudes get to have all the fun?

In honor of International Women’s Day, we decided to honor a set of women in one specific nation … and one specific state: The ever-overlooked “Florida Woman.” Armed with hot sauce bottles, sugar daddies, and in one case, a rabies needle, these women are as Floridian as they come, proving that any gun and/or gator-related antics Florida Men can do, they can do better.

From attempting to eat fake money during a counterfeiting arrest to using a pants alligator as a weapon during a traffic stop, here are 15 Florida Women who have truly shattered the glass ceiling.
