Nine months sober today! -

Today is the day this little lady becomes my daughter. Happy adoption day! -

Today my wife is officially under 200 lbs and I was finally able to do a chin-up for the first time in my life. -

I made pizza for the first time on my own today! It may not seem like much but I couldn’t even eat or have the energy to make anything, and look at me now!! Making pizza! I’m very happy with myself. -

The first number on my scale has been a 2 for the past 21 years, but not today. -

14 months sober from opiates. There is hope. Lost all of my “friends” when I stopped using, but found more elsewhere. We do recover! -

When I was born, the doctors told my parents that I wouldn’t live past the first year due to a heart condition. Today I turned 27 — here is a picture of me with my best buddy. -

After 70 years of neglect, my dad decided to start taking care of himself. He’s lost 75 lbs this year and I’ve never been prouder of him. -

After not seeing my grandparents for months, they finally figured out how ’to work FaceTime.’ This was my grandpa’s face when he saw me. -

I don’t have friends to celebrate with, but I haven’t smoked a single cigarette since New Year! -

One year ago I was in such a deep depression that I genuinely could not see a future for myself. Now, I have bought my first car, signed a lease for my first apartment, and have a great job where I am surrounded by wonderful people. I love my life, and I’m glad I stuck around. -

It’s my cake day today, so I thought I’d share that after being let go from my dream job last year due to COVID and being unemployed for most of 2020, I was able to turn my life around and I bought my first house this week.
