Bleaching your hair blond is very common despite it being a lot of work, keeping up with the regrowth also seems like a giant pain, especially if you have dark hair. I am unsure if this term is exclusively used in New Zealand and Australia but when someone has dark hair that has been bleached a straw-colour blond and is growing out people call it the “mince and cheese” in reference to the filling of the mince and cheese pie, very low life, very funny.
