These people all deserve some kind of medal, or at least a few seconds of online recognition, for taking the extra step to make the world a better place.

Everyone on this list did something to make someone's life a little easier, and while that doesn't always get as much attention as a guy getting kicked in the nuts by a mule, it's still pretty cool.

Some might even say that helping people and not being a selfish butthead is cooler than filming a dude getting racked in his sack. But that's up to your judgment.
