Everyone has had moments in life where you felt unfairly singled out. It may have happened out of nowhere when you were having a great day, or perhaps it just got piled on while you were already having a terrible day or week.

Sometimes the universe just seems to have it out for you. Like you caught the eye of an extra-petty member of whatever pantheon of all-powerful beings you subscribe to when they were feeling a little too bored.

And then there are people so unfathomably unlucky that it leaves you taken aback, dumbfounded as you try to work out just how unlikely their brand of misfortune truly had to have been.
