40 Street Artists Making Use of the Space

Street art is an incredibly cool, necessary force against the boring look of gentrification and new development in cities.
It really feels like every city planner is dedicated to making all of our neighborhoods feel like dystopian ice cube villages that look genuinely terrible. So as the old buildings decay, and the new ones go up, street artists are using them as canvasses, and we’re thankful for that.
Some of these are incredibly beautiful, incredibly stupid, or incredibly creative. Using the holes in a dilapidated building as skull eyes, sewer grates as alligator skin, pipes as… male “parts”. The innovation from these spray-paint fume hugging geniuses feels bottomless.
