I've seen some big museums but this one takes the cake.

1.
The city of Beichuan was destroyed in 2008.
2.
The government was saying the city will be rebuilt in 3 years tops.
3.
But it's 2016 and the city is in ruins.
4.
The whole city was made into museum once they got the message that no one will return to their town.

The museum consists of 3 places:

1. A former high-school filled with information, looking pretty much like any other museum.

2. A sinkhole that created a lake.

3. THE WHOLE CITY.

Yes the whole town is a museum.

It reminds us what a force mother nature is.

The whole city never recovered from the blow and similar to other places like this (where disaster struck) became a tourist attraction.
