Foil is not only a hat from Sci-Fi movies, it can easily remove rust just by scrubbing it with said aluminum foil. It also work with grease.

You can sharpen scissors simply by cutting foil. Magic? Hardly.

Static electricity in clothes? Put a handful of foil in the machine and voila.

If your batteries are too short fill the gap with aluminum foil to sent the charge through it without problems.
