Let’s just hope that if Lillian of Glanmire, County Cork ever took the Coke versus Pepsi challenge, she would end up picking Coca-Cola correctly as her favorite. Why? Well basically for the past 28 years Lilian has been collecting Coca-Cola antiques & products which she has used to carefully transform her house into a Coca-Cola themed wonderland. Everything from mirrors to tables has the Coca-Cola brand, with presses, floors and tiles all painted either red or white. -

Believe it or not, Lillian, who is married with two kids, revealed that her fascination with Coke started when she was on a holiday over 30 years ago. According to her, she was traveling from Germany to Austria and when she crossed the border, realized she had drank the same can of coke in two countries and decided from then on she would collect Coke cans from all around the world. These obsessions often seem to get started for the most trivial reasons. -

She went on to explain that at first the decorations sat up in her loft for years, until she decided that she would decorate a small bedroom with the Coca-Cola theme. Things continued to escalate from there, “Then I was watching Come Dine With Me about five years ago and I thought oh I’ll do the kitchen up in Coca Cola, because one of the women in it had a Coca Cola sign in her kitchen. -
