Today the first ever photo of a black hole was released. It was captured by astronomers using the National Science Foundation-funded Event Horizon Telescope, which is actually an international collaboration of eight different telescopes around the world. This black hole 55-million light years away at the center the M87 galaxy and has a mass that's 6.5 billion times the size of our sun.
