Chevy Chase Chevy Chase almost died on the set of Modern Problems when prop lights attached to his arm were turned on while he was wet. It's really great that he wasn't electrocuted, especially considering how the movie's title would've made his death incredibly ironic... -
2.
Eminem Eminem almost died from an overdose back in 2007, saying, "I pretty much almost died. I pulled through and went home and relapsed less than a month later and I literally shot back up to the amount of pills I was taking, shot right back up to where I overdosed... I scared myself, like, 'Yo... I need help. Like, I can't beat this on my own'." The first step is admitting you have a problem! Hopefully the first step before that first step isn't always almost dying, though. :/ -
3.
Tracy Morgan Tracy Morgan was involved in a collision when a Wal-Mart truck hit his limo on the New Jersey Turnpike. Tracy suffered broken ribs, a broken nose, and a broken leg in the crash, while his friend and fellow comedian James McNair was killed. Others in the limo were also injured, and Tracy has had to undergo a number of surgeries since the incident. He's currently suing Wal-Mart for the crash, as the truck that went into the limo was driving 20 miles over the speed limit at the time of the accident. -

Johnny Depp Johnny Depp described his experience of flying on a plane he was certain was going to go down. He said that all of the sudden "the sound of the engines stopped. There was silence." He thought, "Oh sh*t! This is death; I guess this is how it goes down." Obviously it didn't go down, though, and we can all be thankful because now we're going to get, like, 27 Pirates of the Caribbean movies. -

Leonardo DiCaprio In 2010, Leonardo DiCaprio was on a Moscow-bound flight that had to make an emergency landing in New York after one of the plane's engines shut down. And that's not DiCaprio's only near-death experience. He was nearly killed during a skydiving incident in which both his and his instructor's parachutes failed. Luckily, the instructor finally managed to get his parachute to deploy, but he warned Leo that he should prepare to break his legs on the landing. Leo didn't break his legs in the end but did walk away with a few cuts and bruises and a second near-death experience story to tell. (He knows he can't die before winning that damn Oscar. He knows).
