NHS IT worker Roslyn Learmond had a really bad day.

Roslyn Learmond sent an email on November 13th that was blank apart from 'test' in the subject line. The IT worker unfortunately checked "send to all" and sent the message to about 1,2 million people. -

Many people who got the mail responded with "take me off the mailing list" and also checked "send to all". -
3.
This resulted with millions of unnecessary e-mails slowing the servers almost to a halt and of course memes. -
4.
One worker estimated that more than 180million 'needless' messages were sent as a result of the blunder, which took eight hours to sort out. -

Which escalated more. -
