Jaguar E-Type Lightweight Back in the mid-1960s, Jaguar Cars produced 12 special aluminum-bodied variants of the E-Type coupe for racing purposes. The company initially planned to build 18 units, and never got to wrap up the project – until 2014. The 3.8-liter, six-cylinder cars generate 300 hp and were hand-built using procedures employed during the original production era. The cars competed in various races but failed to win at Le Mans or Sebring but were successful in private hands. -

Lamborghini Reventón Roadster A roadster version of the Reventon was introduced at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Only 15 units were produced and they sold out even before actual production started. The $1.56 million price tag certainly did not deter buyers from purchasing this unique ride, which is powered by the engine sourced from the Murciélago LP 670–4 Super Veloce. The Reventón Roadster can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds and tops out at 205 mph -

Aston Martin DB10 The Aston Martin DB10 is a bespoke 2-door coupé that was designed, engineered and hand crafted for the 2015 James Bond flick “Spectre”. Only ten cars were built. The DB10 was introduced by Barbara Broccoli and Sam Mendes, the producer and director of the film, which is the 24th James Bond movie from Eon Productions. The unveiling occurred as part of the official press launch of the movie at Pinewood Studios on December 4, 2014. -

Pagani Huayra BC The Pagani Huayra BC is an extreme iteration of the legendary Huayra. It is powered by an upgraded version of the original Huayra’s 6.0 liter V12, twin turbocharged AMG engine, and now cranks out 739 hp and 737 lb⋅ft of torque. The figures are good enough for a top speed of 230 mph and a zero to 60 mph time of just 2.8 seconds. All 20 units of the $2.6 million Huayra BC have been sold out. -

W Motors Lykan Hypersport The Lykan HyperSport is a limited production supercar by W Motors. It is the first supercar to be produced in the Arab World and the third most expensive car built to date. It is also one of the best known, thanks to its appearance in the film Fast and Furious 7. With a price tag of $3.4 million, it features scissor doors, jewel-encrusted headlights, and a futuristic cabin. Only seven of these amazing cars have been built. -

Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster Production of the Zonda Cinque Roadster was limited to five units, and all five cars were sold before they were even built. The buyers of this exclusive ride were set back by $1.8 million, but they got a car with a carbon-titanium frame, robotized multi-program sequential transmission, adjustable suspensions, inconel/titanium exhaust system, and a 678 hp Mercedes-Benz AMG 12V that propelled the car from 0-62 mph in 4.3 seconds. -

Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang The Pur Sang is a special edition of the EB 16.4 Veyron and only five of them were ever sold. In fact, the cars sold out less than 24 hours after they were unveiled at the Frankfurt International Auto Show. Only exclusive European clients with $3 million to shell out were invited to the event. The two-seater Pur Sang was built with almost no sharp edges and without a coating of exterior paint. Its 8-liter, 1001 hp 16-cylinder mill allows the car to go from 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. -

Jaguar XKR 75 The XKR 75 is a limited version of the XKR produced to commemorate Jaguar’s 75th anniversary. As the name suggests, Jaguar rolled out a total of 75 cars and they were only sold in six countries: Belgium, Italy, France, Germany, the UK and the Netherlands. The XKR 75 is much like a standard XKR, except for increased power and torque (523 hp and 483 lb·ft), upgraded handling and suspension, and increased top speed to 186 mph. -

Mercedes-Benz A-Class E-Cell The Mercedes-Benz A-Class E-Cell may look like a normal mini van, but under the bonnet it’s all about power. It is powered by two lithium ion batteries capable of delivering a peak output of 94 hp and a maximum torque of 214 lb-ft. The E-Cell has a range of 120 miles and can accelerate from zero to 37 mph in 5.5 seconds. Only 500 Class E-Cells were ever built and it’s only available in Europe. -

Ferrari F60 America Ferrari debuted the F60 America in time for its 60th-anniversary festivities slated to celebrate the automaker’s diamond anniversary in the United States. The car is a roadster derivative of the F12 Berlinetta and features an all-American theme. Production is set at just 10 units, each carrying a price tag of $2.5 million. Ten well-heeled collectors have already purchased all 10 copies. Ferrari claims the front-mid-mounted V-12 can propel the F60 from zero to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. -

Koenigsegg Trevita The CCXR Trevita is a limited edition version of the Koenigsegg CCXR and features the world’s first diamond weave carbon fiber finish. The word “Trevita” means “three whites” in Swedish and only three cars were planned to be built. However, because of the intricacy of crafting the special white carbon-fiber, only two were ever produced, making the CCXR Trevita one of the rarest cars manufactured by Koenigsegg. A man in Geneva and Floyd Mayweather Jr. each own one of the Trevitas. -

Lamborghini Veneno The Veneno is a limited production supercar based on the Aventador and was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini. When officially introduced at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show, the Veneno carried a price tag of $4.5 million making it the most expensive production car in the world. Its engine is a development of the Aventador’s 6.5 liter V12 and generates 740 hp, enough to bring the car from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. -

Maybach Exelero The Maybach Exelero is a high-performance sports car built in 2004. It is big and bold, tipping the scale at 5,852 lbs and easily outweighing other sports cars by over a ton. This 700 hp 4-seater powered by a twin turbo V12 is a one-off design created by Maybach-Motorenbau GmbH, upon the request of Fulda Tires. Worth a staggering $8 million, it holds the record as the most expensive car in the world. -

Rolls Royce Phantom Serenity The exterior features a Mother of Pearl three stage pearl effect paint job, while the cabin is inspired by Japanese design crafted from hand woven silk fabric. It costs around £1 million. -

Tramontana The Tramontana is a mid-engined Spanish sports car with a design inspired by combining jet fighters and F1 racing cars. It was launched by Atelier Tramontana as a concept at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, and later modified for production. Only 12 units are produced annually and all the cars are built under special request. Power comes from a 12 cylinder, V60 Biturbo engine which is capable of propelling the cars from 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds. -

Zenvo ST1 The Zenvo ST-1 is a $1.2 million high performance Danish sports car powered by a turbocharged and supercharged 6.8-liter V8 rated at 1,104 hp at 6,900 rpm and 1,050 lb·ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. Only 15 of these exclusive cars were built and they were only offered for sale to ‘specially approved’ clients. The ST-1 comes equipped with keyless entry, telescopic steering wheel adjustment, satellite navigation, and electronically adjustable leather racing seats.
