A little more than a month ago, 16-year-old Carter Wilkerson asked Wendy’s how many retweets it would take to get free chicken nuggets for a year. Wendy’s set the bar extremely high and still maybe impossible with a demand of 18 million. Twitter claims to have 317 million active users, making 18 million just about 5% of their user base.

Wilkerson hasn’t reached the 18 million Wendy’s insisted on, but he now has the most retweeted Tweet of all time. The tweet currently has over 3,455,500 retweets, beating out Ellen DeGeneres’ Oscar selfie. That’s enough for Wendy’s to dish out the nuggets and a $100,000 donation to charity.
