Geoff Tate was a great singer and amazing voice. He sounded like he just finished an Opera tour in Europe. Queensryche much better band than their top 40 records indicated.

Poison, Every Rose has its Thorn. More well known now for Bret Michaels being on MTV for years.

GNR... Hell yea. My senior year in HS, you could hear Appetite For Destruction everyday on someones car stereo, headphones, or Boombox. No MP3s yet.
