How did we survive?

24 things that wouldn't past helicopter parenting and safety guidelines today. We survived.... without helmets and 10 inch cushions under our play things.

Oh McDonalds, tall metal structures?! (So much fun, so many great memories) and that green astroturf that killed your knees when you fell from running- but you got up and shook it off because MCDONALDS! We survived!
2.
No crash mats underneath??! No rubbery softness? We survived!
3.
We had to use our legs- it wasn't battery operated. How exhausting and we could have pulled a muscle- We survived!
4.
So much metal, so tall.... We survived!
5.
This looks more like a cage- politically incorrect? We survived!

Gasp- the keys were off and texting wasn't an option. We survived!

But there aren't bumpers on both sides and a cushion underneath to protect our fragile little bottles... We survived!

I don't even know where to start with this one. The parents of this decade hated Children. We survived!

Not my generation, but they survived!

On top of mothering and cooking, women had to figure out how to use this thing- they survived!

Oh woe as me, so much work to get that little point! They survived.

I used to play with my mum's old ones and sometimes they would come off of your shoes. They wheels rolled funny but They survived!

War safety - they survived without PTSD

This was either a stroller or a play devide, I'm not sure but they survived the metal

so many safety infractions, so much lurking danger We survived!

Some sort of merry go round that would be used as protection if someone opened fire on a playground these days.

Bathroom heaters, my grandma had one (they were really dangerous and often caused fires) but so warm We survived!

Vaccination anyone? This was enough to scare you before the pain- everyone survived

Front seat car seat. Seems legit. I don't know if they survived this one though

Booster seats that didn't secure to the chair! We survived!

This got stuck in there and I can't delete it now. You'll survive.
