Jon Reyes, who is the Minister of Economic Development and Jobs in Manitoban Canada, went viral over the weekend after he posted a photo of his wife shoveling snow after just working a 12-hour shift.
It's been a while since we had some doofus go this viral on Twitter, and in the usual fashion, the whole world came together to call him out for not helping his wife.
The caption for his tweet reads, "Even after a 12 hour night shift at the hospital last night, my wife still has the energy to shovel the driveway. God bless her and all our frontliners. Time to make her some breakfast."
The internet took much offense to this Tweet and Jon Reyes will never live this moment down, but props to him for not deleting it, many people dunking on him wouldn't have the courage to do that, so kudos, Jon and keep being lazy icon.

Here is Jon's original tweet. Maybe she's shoveling the snow, not because she still has the energy but because she knows you won't, Jon? While we praised Jon for not deleting the Tweet, he did do something worse, he created an account for his wife, or forced her to create a brand new account to defend herself. -

While most people were busy roasting Jon, he was begging his wife to Tweet in his honor. -

And she eventually did. She responded to his Tweet with a quote tweet that said, " All I wanted to do was shovel!" Sure. -

But little did non-shoveling-Jon know, that when you're first ever Tweet is in defense of your "can't lift a finger" husband, its looks a little suspect. -

What came next was a tidal wave of memes and roasts, some of which we have collected here. People turned his copy into what is called a "copy-pasta", and others just hurled insults. So thanks Jon for being lazy, we had a good laugh. -
