When Brittney Pennington and her boyfriend, Taylor Day, trotted off for a nice little fishing adventure, the last thing they expected to see was a pair of feet poking out from behind some rocks. When the couple first noticed something strange in the distance, they spent nearly half an hour pondering just what it was they were looking at- scared to get close. That’s when they busted out some binoculars, before quickly realizing that they were looking at a pair of female feet and legs.

Understandably, Brittney (right) and Taylor (left) immediately shat themselves. Upon further investigation through the binoculars, they noticed a bum, stomach, and breasts. They realized quickly that they were looking at a naked, dead body. Or so they thought. It was then that they threw down the binoculars and immediately called 911 to inform the police that they had found a body near the creek.

Shortly after hanging up the phone, six police squad cars, a fire truck, and emergency medical teams rushed to their location. Her garden and the creek near her place were sectioned off and designated as a crime scene. Brittany said of the situation: “It was a really scary thing to find. I remember thinking ‘if there’s a murderer out there we have to leave. When the cops arrived they said, ‘Yeah we might have a homicide.”

It wasn’t long before the police had approached the body and, after realizing that it wasn’t a body after all, picked it up and brought it over to the terrified couple. “They asked, ‘Well, are y’all missing anything?’. It was an abandoned sex doll, it was one of the realistic squishy ones that I guess are a good amount of money.” Brittany said. ” When I found it was a sex doll and not a corpse we started laughing and the cops started laughing, too. They just picked it up and hauled it away.”
