Trampoline parks that were kinda death traps. Sprinklers made them slipper and fun during the summer but The grass was never mowed underneath and all sorts of animals lived under there (from snakes to raccoons). Too many injuries and high insurance premiums shut these places down. -
2.
Arcades were a great place to waste your allowance on Saturdays. -
3.
Roller Skating rinks were really crowded and fun on the weekends. Wooden floors, disco balls, flashing lights, and lots of teenage and kiddie drama. -
4.
The random super slide craze- these were year-round enterteinament places (like puttputt) and people went just to slide on this one slide. I guess it must have had a pay one price option or something but it's no wonder these fell away quickly. -
5.
I mean like, how many times can you climb and slide in a day before it gets old? -
6.
Goofy Golf was like putt putt putt but the obstacles were fun and more interesting -
7.
Another trampoline park- some places assigned a trampoline and others just let you bounce from one to the next -
8.
The old playground equipment was pretty simple and probably caused a ton of injuries. -
9.
Putt putt- pizza, arcade games, and a fun way to spend a Friday night -
