One man's dream turned into nightmare, which ironically turned his failure into success.

Mutsuo Furukawa's dream was to turn Fureai Sekibutsu in Toyama Province into a famous tourist attraction. -

He made a park with about 800 statues showing happy people. -
3.
The park was considered "a little bi interesting" and had no tourist interest. -

Mutsuo Furukawa spend 6 billion yen and dreamed of a famous attraction. -
5.
That was in 1989. After some time Mutsuo Furukawa admitted failure and neglected the park. -

The statues got dirty weird and the creepy smiles didn't help... -
