Haydn Peacock recently suffered the kind of injury to make all men squirm during a rugby league game in France. -
2.
As he was running with the ball, Haydn made a break and in a last ditch effort from the opposition to tackle him, a player reached out and grabbed hold of his shorts. -
3.
Except it wasn’t just his shorts the member of the opposition grabbed hold of: “their centre pretty much ripped my d*ck off”. -
4.
“There’s a photo of me screaming in pain, and I finished out the half. The pain was all right and then at halftime I was like ‘I’ve got to have a look'”. -
5.
“I checked on it and the skin is half ripped off and I was like, ‘Sh*t, where’s the doctor? Where’s the doctor?'”. -
6.
Haydn was sent to the hospital to get 11 stitches on his member, which put the skin on his penis back together. -
7.
His coach encouraged the player to wear a box for his next game but Haydn just ended up strapping his junk up nice and tight. -
8.
The ice bath after the game was probably feeling a little painful though. -
9.
This isn’t the first instance of genital mutilation during a rugby game. New Zealand rugby union player Buck Shelford had his scrotum torn open in a game – a game that he finished. -
10.
Junk grabbing is such a problem in rugby league that it even has it’s own term: the ‘squirrel grip’. -
11.
A squirrel grip occurs when a player performs an illegal tackle grabbing and squeezing the testicles of an opposing player. -
12.
This guy isn’t messing around, he’s gone in for the kill – guess he must be a fan of nuts. -
13.
There’s no need for foreplay when you have moves like this. -
14.
It’s fair to say that broken bones and concussion aren’t the only things you have to worry about when playing rugby.
