Over 45 cars have been claimed by the Auburn Maine yellow pole. Despite its bright yellow paint, over 45 cars have hit the pole over the past few years; usually hard enough to cause significant damage. "We've definitely seen some nasty ones come through," local bodyshop worker Jake Cyr said.

 A former employee of the store named Jeydon-Xavier Smith even started a Facebook group called "The Auburn Walmart Pole Strikes Again." Over time the pole has been lit up, surrounded by neon green plastic, and blocked by concrete barriers to try and reduce accidents. Still, the crashing persists.

 I suppose when the people of Walmart are involved, nothing is beneath their abilities.
