Horrific accidents are also, occasionally unavoidable. So, we have to look on the bright side of the inevitable. Every once in a while, destruction leaves behind really beautiful or cool moments. Oil spills are constantly ruining the oceans' ecosystems, but they’re undeniably cool to look at. The aftermath of wildfires look like witchy, haunted forests from an Oscar-winning film. Even nuclear testing areas have a strange, picturesque charm to them.
