Ubisoft to Remove the Word 'Disfigured' From Assassin's Creed: Valhalla After Accusation of Ableism

Video game reviewer Courtney Craven called out Ubisoft over their use of the word, "disfigured" in an Assassin's Creed Valhalla cut-scene.

Assassins Creed Valhalla is the hottest game out right now, that is until COD is release on Friday. But in the meantime, there has been a light bump of drama in what has been an otherwise flawless Xbox release. The drama is Ubisoft's usage of the word, "disfigured" when describing the face of a woman who suffered burns in a childhood accident.

Courtney Craven tweeted a message about the usage of the word in AC: Valhalla. Ubisoft was quick to respond.

Though Assassin's Creed was quick to respond, stating they would remove the language in a coming update, many people didn't see a problem with the words usage.

Well Ubisoft seems to think it's both of their problem.
